THEME RESPONSE
In Art 7A there are many different themes that will be covered in the curriculum. Confession, sequence in narratives, alternative personas, and personal space are some of the themes that will be discussed and will relate to my future as an artist. I can use confession when I want to paint or do photography. Whenever I think of something I want to paint or capture in a photograph, I usually think of something personal that I want to confess in my artwork that is either personal or a lesson that I have learned. I can also use a sequence of narratives in the future if I ever wanted to design video games, comic books, or even a fashion line. The ability to tell a story through sequence is very important in those lines of work because you have to be able to connect with the viewer and get your point across. Alternative personas could be a good theme for performance art, for example if you want to act or perform in an installation. Finally personal space could work also with installations by expressing the importance or the use of personal space either in your own life or in some other dimension. I think confession might be the most interesting theme to me.
